Coach: 4 ways to stack savings: Get 20% off, get 12% cash back, earn $10, get +7 add’l Amex Membership Rewards

There are 4 different ways you could stack your savings when you shop at Coach this holiday season. Some of you might have other savings hacks, these are the ones that I know right now.

1. Get a Rakuten account & earn $10

Thanks to my friend, Jamie H., this deal when you shop at Coach just got better. It starts at Rakuten.

To those not familiar, what is Rakuten?

  • Before you shop at Coach, go to Rakuten (formerly known as Ebates)
  • Don’t have an account with Rakuten (Ebates)? It’s FREE. Click here.
  • You get $10 when you spend $25 when you open up a Rakuten account.
  • If you already have a Rakuten (formerly Ebates account), great!

2. From Rakuten, earn 12% cash back at Coach online

For a limited time, Rakuten is offering 12% cash back when you shop at Coach (and many other stores). This offer is typically 2% cash back. But for this holiday season, Rakuten increased the cash back earning s to 12%.

  • Go to your Rakuten account
  • Look for COACH in the Search Bar and click COACH and enter

  • Once you see COACH, click on SHOP NOW

  • You should see this next.

  • You should be taken to COACH online page, and begin shopping from there.

Friendly reminders

  • Make sure you don’t close your browser or use another browser to make this purchase
  • Remember you have to begin your shopping search by going first to your Rakuten account.
  • If you follow these steps, your COACH purchase gets you 12% off

3. Coach is offering additional 20% savings this weekend only (thru 12/15/19)

Use Code EXTRA20 at checkout

4. Get an additional +7 Amex Membership Rewards points with Amex Offers

I wrote this recently, and I’ll add it here again.

Sample Coach savings

Putting it altogether, here’s an example when you open up a Rakuten account that will get you $10 when you spend $25 or more, get an additional 12% at Coach online, and if you have a Coach Amex Offer – this is how your savings might look like using a $300 sample purchase. These are all approximates.

Remember these are just approximates.

How do you check for Amex Offers

You can check these from your desktop computer (scroll down under Recent Transactions and you’ll see Amex offers and benefits), or using your smartphone, once you’re in the Amex app, you’ll see Offers in the bottom of the screen.

What you need to know about Amex Offers

  • Amex offers are targeted offers, if someone has an offer you didn’t get, you can’t call Amex to request the offer be added to yours
  • If interested in using an offer, you have to click Add to Card
  • Follow the instructions, restrictions do apply (expiration date, what you can or cannot buy, places where you can or cannot use the offer)
  • Offers come in a form of credit or in some cases, additional Amex Membership Rewards Bonus (could be found on cards that offer MRs)
  • Credits or bonuses don’t always post immediately, some could take weeks. Read the details of the offer.
