I feel like things happen to me for a reason so I could post about it. Nancy and I spent our Sunday as tour guides for our family who’s visiting us from the UK. While waiting for their flight to arrive, instead of parking at LAX, I went to a local strip mall just a few blocks away from LAX, and while parked, Nancy noticed LAX 24/7 Locker Rentals. For research, I went in to check out the scene.

Picture this. You’re in LA, at LAX, and you have time to explore before your next flight. There are many travelers who travel to LAX and have a flight to catch later on that day or evening Instead of just staying at the airport, they would rather go out of the airport in order to do a few things.

I went in, there were quite a few folks, including Steve, the manager. There are no reservations required. The facility is clean, and is expanding. There are plenty of parking, and they provide 24 hour video surveillance.

You could take a short cab ride or Uber/Lyft ride. It’s only a mile away from LAX on Sepulveda (not far from In N Out Burger). Located within CVS and Ralphs, behind GNC, Pizza Hut, TOGOS. Walking to this facility is NOT recommended. Taxi provides the best flat rate value when leaving LAX to go to the locker rental. From the rental back to LAX, Uber or Lyft could be a cheaper alternative.
What sized items can you leave?
They have lockers for little items to XL items – from small backpacks to XL check-in type of luggage. The amount of time and locker size that you need will determine the cost. There are options for you to rent the entire closet or locker space that could fit up 4 XL checked luggage.
Rental period
You could rent for as short as 2 hours, or use their facilities for more than 10+ days. You will have unlimited 24-hour access to the locker during rental period

If I were to do this, I would most likely need something greater than 4 hours, and a medium locker for more than 4 hours up to 2 days is $19/day.
