This morning, my friend, Ted, sent me an article regarding Zipair flights to Japan from $91 one way. Of course, I clicked it.

But first what is Zipair?

It’s a low-cost budget airline that flies to Tokyo NRT from Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, Los Angeles, San Jose, Honolulu. Beginning June 2023, Zipair will begin flying out of San Francisco to Tokyo NRT.

Where’s the $91 fare

I went to Zipair website,  and for the life of me, I tried searching for the $91 fare from SFO-NRT, but I couldn’t find it. I saw one-way flights in the $300-$400 range. So I was thinking….what on earth? How could these entries show the $91 fare? Here’s another one from Travel and Leisure.

$91 one way is available but…

It’s not for adults. I had to scour and tried different variations found that the $91 fare is there, but it’s for kids under 7 years old. If this is you, then yes, you could fly your kids under 7 years old to Japan for $91 one -way. Here’s a sample of an adult traveling with a child 2-6 years of age. Before taxes and fees, it’s $91 one way for the child.
