1. What is GoPuff? According to GoPuff,  a delivery service that brings thousands of products to your doorstep in minutes. However, for many of us, this GoPuff deal works best when you pick up your orders at a BevMo location that offers pick up options.

Simply create an account using the Gopuff app or online, add everything you need to your cart, and check out. 

2. What is BevMo? The interesting thing for me? I’ve never been to a BevMo store prior to this. My first impression was that it was simply a beverage store, just drinks. But it wasn’t up until recently when I learned that there are BevMo locations that sell mostly beverages, while there are BevMo store locations that are as huge as a grocery store selling all sorts of things you would expect from a typical supermarket.

3. What is the $10 GoPuff credit from Chase – Through the end of 2023, Chase added benefits to many of their credit cards  where the cardmembers automatically receive up to a $10 statement credit each month on their Gopuff purchase.

4. Which Chase credit cards are eligible? Do I need to activate the $10 offer in order to get the credit?

5. So how does this all come together with GoPuff and BevMo?

• You place your order via GoPuff (using an app or their website)
• You could have your orders delivered for a fee, or
• Have your order picked up at a BevMo that offers pick up option (this is what most of us do)
• Not all BevMos have that option. So you have to find one that does.

6. How do I know if my local BevMo offers pick up?

When you key in your address in the app or website, you will be given information about nearby BevMos that offer delivery or pickup location. Remember, NOT all BevMos have a pickup option. You could check with BevMo directly, or simply Google the BevMo locations that would work for you and try to see if their store offers pick up options.

Let’s say there are 3 BevMos that you’re willing to go to…..but only 1 BevMo location offers pickup option. Let’s say the address for that Bevmo is 1234 Main St, Anytown, CA. I would enter 1000 Main St – since the address is close enough to the pick up location, and that should pull up the nearest Bevmo of 1234 Main St.

7. Why pickup? To best take advantage of the promo, picking up your order is at no cost to you. You could specify a pick-up date and time that suits your schedule.

8.Does GoPuff deliver? Is there a cost? According to GoPuff, “Our delivery fee is as low as $3.95, and we don’t surge or hike prices. (Yes, you read that right.)
An additional fee of $3.95 will be added to all orders containing regulated products. This fee covers costs associated with the sale of alcohol, tobacco, and vaping products..”

You do have an option to get your order/s delivered. Just know that delivery has a cost.

9. Does GoPuff have a delivery plan? GoPuff Fam is a membership service that offers a variety of perks and free delivery on all orders for just $7.99/month. Join here! Just remember, GoPuff does not deliver in all areas.

10. I don’t have a local BevMo – unfortunately, promotion works best when you have a local BevMo pick up location, or a location that delivers.

11. How can I take advantage of this offer without having a pickup location – some have “donated” their monthly GoPuff savings by shopping online, and having a friend/family member pickup at their local BevMo location. Others have done so and picked non-perishable items and donated them to a local charity.

12. Do I need to activate this Chase GoPuff offer? No activation required. All you do is pay with an eligible credit card, make sure to charge over $10 (and not less), and within a couple of days, you will see a $10 GoPuff credit back to your credit card account. If your eligible Chase credit card has a Chase offer, then yes, you will need to activate the Chase offer (see #18).

13. How many transactions can I do per day? Initially, I’ve done 3-4 transactions per GoPuff account per day. Each transaction was using one eligible Chase credit card. Once I’ve used that card for the month, I set it aside, and save it again for the next month. I plan on doing this until December 2023 (ending of the promo period).

1. How does it work? You simply sign up for a FREE account with the following portals. Once you create an account, instead of going directly to the GoPuff app or website, you have to start your shopping journey:

• Go to the shopping portal of your choice (TopCashBack or Rakuten)
• Click GoPuff and the current offer
• Click SHOP NOW – once you do that, it will remember your shopping trip and your transaction. If you do make a purchase, your transaction will be saved by the shopping portal, and your cashback choice will be available to you periodically.

14. Can I use multiple shopping portals? You can only use ONE shopping portal per transaction.

15. If I pick up, do I have to present an ID?  During your online checkout, here’s GoPuff’s policy “Pickup instructions: Required for all pick up orders, please bring your valid ID for verification. Your order will be available for pick up during your local BevMo retail hours. Orders not picked up same day will be canceled upon store close.”

From experience, I’ve been asked to show my ID a couple of times. I’ve also had to pick up orders on behalf of my mom and my daughter. I called the store ahead of time informing them that I’ll be doing the pickup. For precaution, I took a photo of my mom’s license and my daughter’s license.

16. Can you create different GoPuff accounts? I use a different email per device (using a different phone #) with the GoPuff.

17. Another way to stack is Dosh? Don’t forget to add all your chase cards to Dosh too to get 15% cash back and shop thru Aadvantage e shopping to get 8 miles per dollar ( but to get this you must order thru the computer ) Here’s the link to get started with DOSH Thanks for this tip @Emi SD.

18. Check your Chase Offers – every now and then, there could be additional Chase Offer that you could add to your credit card for additional savings. What does this mean? If you have a Chase Offer (say 15% off GoPuff purchases), you can use that card to pay for your GoPuff purchase, and if that same card is one of the eligible cards for the $10 monthly credit limit – then that’s double the goodness – Chase Offer + $10 credit. If you do have a Chase Offer for GoPuff, make sure to ADD the offer to your card by clicking the + (plus symbol).

19. When will this offer end? It’s currently slated to end Dec 31. 2023. There has been no indication if Chase will continue to give $10 GoPuff credit in 2024.

20. Can I purchase gift cards with GoPuff? Over on Daddy Travels on Facebook Group, there have been lots of discussion regarding Gift Card purchases. Some reported that it worked for them, that they were able to buy the GoPuff Gift Cards, and have also used the GoPuff Gift Cards to pay for purchases, others have reported that it stopped working. What I can share with you, in mid-July, a group member who purchased GoPuff gift cards waited and waited for the $10 credit but did not get the credit. After a follow-up message with Chase, the member was advised that the credit won’t work with Gift Card purchases.

 

Sample GoPuff Transaction

I’ll share with you how I do it. I’ve had to order a minimum of $22.95 (or more) – this is because I have the $10 off from the referrals I’ve earned with GoPuff. Plus, I will also get another $10 off from Chase.

So with $22.95, taxes are added….so let’s just say $24 total. GoPuff will automatically deduct $10. Bringing my purchase down to $14. That’s the amount that will be charged to my Chase credit card. $14 will appear as a charge…and with 2-3 days, I’ll see a $10 statement credit from Chase.

Again, this offer has been great for many of us. It is best leveraged when you pair the offers with additional cashback. In summary, if you haven’t started yet
