In 2020, Nancy and I visited Miraval Austin, an all-inclusive wellness resort. It was a fun-filled weekend where we got to participate in many activities, and got treated to some of the best all-inclusive meals. It’s a wellness resort, a place to unplug and get away from it all.

What is Miraval?
- Buy One Night, get the 2nd night free
- World of Hyatt also offered points back
- Miraval offered $175 resort credit per person ($350 total for me and Nancy)
- All-inclusive (food and activities)
To be perfectly honest with you, we did so much during our two-night stay and I just had to capture everything which started from the red-carpet treatment (SUV Limo pick up at the airport). Click here for a recap:
We told ourselves that should a similar deal pop up, that we would try it again, and perhaps try another Miraval property. There are three Miraval resorts:

Here’s what we booked, a two-night stay
We pulled the trigger and booked Miraval Arizona. We are heading to Tucson. We used our points:
- 1st night – 45,000 World of Hyatt points, for one guest or 65,000 World of Hyatt points for two guests
- 2nd night – FREE
- Resort credit – $175 per person applicable to some of the paid services such as spa treatment or classes. That’s $175 per person when you book a one-night stay on points and get the 2nd night free.
- For me and Nancy, that’s a total of $350 (not per person) that we could use during our entire stay
- Remember, many of the activities in-house are INCLUDED at no extra cost
- All taxes, fees, gratuities – INCLUDED
Over $3,500 value
If we paid for these two nights in cash $3,530.56 including the $350 resort credit. There’s no way I would spend that kind of money. Instead, we used points earned with our credit cards.

How to book this when using credit card points
